PARENTS dropping kids at school will be targeted by council inspectors this term.
Brisbane City Council said 10 vehicles would target 60 schools, which have been nominated as needing more action, to watch for unsafe or illegal parking.
Councillor Amanda Cooper said parking inspectors would be issuing warnings or fines to drivers who failed to "park safely during school times".
"Council has more than doubled the number of enforcement officers patrolling during school times in response to the large number of requests ... from schools and the community," she said.
