Ismail Cajee has qualifications in occupational therapy and has had a long and successful career as an international business owner. Born and raised in South Africa, Mr Cajee arrived in Australia in 1985 and from the first few months of his arrival has volunteered his time and efforts towards community organisations. Mr Cajee has owned and operated businesses in Australia, China and Malaysia. Mr Cajee played a crucial role in ensuring the continuity of the school after the compliance issues raised by the state and federal government between 2011 and 2015. Along with some members of the current board, Mr Cajee ensured that school gained its independence from AFIC and satisfied requirements set by education authorities. Mr Cajee has served as a board member since 2015 and oversaw the change in constitution and renewal of ICB.
