Ali Kadri is a transformative educator and visionary leader serving as the CEO of the Islamic College of Brisbane (ICB) since 2020. Under his leadership, ICB has grown in student numbers and achieved academic excellence, making it one of the top-performing independent schools in Queensland. His journey with ICB began in 2016, when he was appointed to the board during a challenging period, helping to stabilize and guide the school toward sustainable growth.

Ali brings over two decades of leadership experience in education and the not-for-profit sector. His qualifications, including a Diploma of Vocational Education and Training, an MBA in Marketing from Charles Sturt University, a Master of Professional Accounting from James Cook University, and a Graduate Certificate in International Relations from Griffith University, equip him with the skills to manage both the educational and business aspects of school leadership. This holistic approach ensures that ICB continues to excel academically while maintaining strong moral values.

As a prominent advocate for multiculturalism and interfaith dialogue, Ali has served on the Multicultural Queensland Advisory Council, advising the Queensland Government on educational policies and community engagement. His contributions in shaping these policies demonstrate his commitment to fostering inclusive environments where students feel valued and supported.

Ali’s leadership extends beyond the school community, with frequent invitations to speak at national and international forums on education, multiculturalism, and social justice. His participation in documentaries such as The Swap and The Mosque Next Door highlights his commitment to breaking down barriers between communities. Furthermore, his expertise in technology and education has led him to speak at major conferences on Artificial Intelligence in education, where he continues to push the boundaries of how technology can enhance learning experiences.
