And We have certainly made the Quran easy to remember, so is there any who will remember?
ICB provides a Hifdhul- Quran (Quran memorisation) programme for our students (both boys and girls). We currently have 3 classes including a girl only class. The classes take place daily at school. The timings are:
- Monday to Friday 6.45am -8.00am and afternoons from 3.30pm to 4:45pm
- Saturdays and Public holidays from 8.00am to 11.00 am
- School holidays: 1st week of all holidays 8:00am-11:00am
The Hifdh Program is designed for students who want to memorize the Holy Qur’an at a faster speed. ICB believes in the importance of the Noble Quran in our lives, and it is our hope that through this program we are be able to offer our community an additional service. The Imam’s will assess each student to see if they fulfill the requirements needed to be accepted into the Hifdh program. The requirements include but not limited to:
- Student is in year 4 upwards.
- Student is able to read the Quran in Arabic accurately and fluently.
- Student displays good behaviour.
- Student is in good academic standing.
- Both the student and their family are fully committed to the program and meeting its expectations.
Alhamdulillah, ICB has had over 16 graduates already and ICB Hifdh students have lead taraweeh prayers during Ramadan in the ICB classrooms as well as at other venues to assist them with becoming confident Huffadh.
