Meet Our Alumni
Ahmed Dib
A Fighter in the Courtroom and the Ring
Though Ahmed Dib departed the Islamic College of Brisbane at the end of Year 11 in 2004, his journey since then has been nothing short of inspiring. Ahmed pursued a career in law, earning his Bachelor of Laws from Bond University. He is now the Principal Solicitor at Dib & Associates, a prominent criminal law firm with offices in Sydney, Brisbane, and the Gold Coast.
He has represented clients in some of Australia’s most complex and high-profile cases, including terrorism-related charges, serious assaults, and murder trials. His courtroom presence is marked by tenacity and a deep commitment to justice.
Beyond the legal arena, Ahmed is also a professional boxer. Competing in the super welterweight division, he maintained an undefeated record of 21 wins—11 by knockout—over an 11-year career from 2011 to 2022.
Ahmed’s dual pursuits in law and boxing exemplify resilience, discipline, and a relentless drive to succeed—qualities that reflect the values instilled during his time at ICB.
